Psychotherapy Practice
Psychotherapy is the healing of the psyche. It provides the space and conditions needed to explore our inner life and reflect on our experiences in the outer world. Re-acquaintance with our own nature and our being in the world can be a fulfilling and challenging journey.
This journey is as well-established as humanity itself. We have long sought to understand ourselves and our experiences through story-telling, introspection, reflection, dream interpretation and contemplation. While ultimately this journey is our own to make, it is impossible to undertake alone. As a psychotherapist I offer conditions for such a journey, companionship for the ride and openness as to what might be discovered.
The Process
I see individuals usually on a one-to-one basis. Sessions are undertaken with some regularity according to individual need.
The psychotherapy process can be helpfully combined with one-to-one yoga practice. Exploring physical postures and breathing practices strengthens the connections between our embodied experience and our mind revealing a deeper understanding of self.
The Practicalities
I see people in private practice a few minutes walk from Maida Vale tube (directions available on booking) and at CCPE near Warwick Avenue tube (map below).
